The Global Health Shift organization got started following Dr. Daniel Gordani’s appearance on the Scrubs rewatch podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends where hosts Zach Braff and Donald Faison helped share his vision of a universal primary care organization with their audience. Following his guest appearance, Daniel got many emails from listeners who loved his idea and contacted him to participate in his non-profit organization. After an interview process with the many applicants, the board of directors was formed.
The board is comprised of young people from all around the world who share a love for the TV show Scrubs and will often quote from the show and the podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends but most importantly they share the same vision: changing the world, by offering primary healthcare in developing countries and regions with like-minded volunteers.
Global Health Shift is more than a name, it is our mission. We aim to provide a positive shift in the world healthcare system by bridging the healthcare gap in communities that need it most. By providing basic healthcare at no cost to those who need it, we hope to remove the negative stigma of the healthcare industry and provide what we consider basic human rights to those who need it. Our name simply states what we want to achieve.
With Your Help, We are Making The World a Better Place

Building sustainable healthcare facilities, in collaboration with volunteers, we will provide primary healthcare around the world.
